Delete your Lumecast account

You can delete your Lumecast account and its associated data at any time. There are two ways.

How to delete your account

In the app — instant, self-serve

Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted immediately — no email, no waiting, no approval step. This is the fastest way, and it works on both iOS and Android.

Email us — if you can't sign in

Send a request to support@lumecast.app from the email address your account is registered under, with the subject "Delete my Lumecast account". We will verify the request and complete the deletion within 30 days, then confirm by reply.

Use this route only when you no longer have access to the app or your sign-in.

What gets deleted

Your account and sign-in credentials (email, date of birth)
Your profile — username, display name, bio, avatar photo
Your chat messages, follows ("Orbits"), and notification tokens
Your remaining Lux balance (deletion forfeits unspent Lux)

What we may keep, and why

Purchase and payout ledger entries, kept as required for tax and accounting law
Moderation records tied to violations of our guidelines, kept where necessary to enforce bans and comply with legal obligations

Anything retained is kept only as long as the legal purpose requires and is no longer linked to a visible profile.
